Rock For Socks II is upon us! Snag a pair or package of new socks and head on over to St Paul's newest concert venue, the Amsterdam Bar & Hall (on the Hall Stage) this Friday night! Your sock donation goes to helpTwin Cities families in need via People Serving People. By donating a pair of socks at the door you'll get a reduced ticket price of $5 you'll be automatically entered to win some great prizes and merchandise courtesy of Rock The Cause and the performing artists.

In partnership with ROCK THE CAUSE and building off of last year's success, this year's event will take place on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Amsterdam Bar and Hall in downtown Saint Paul and features an incredible lineup - Pictures of Then, The Envy Corps, Apollo Cobra and Pretty Good Dance Moves. Fans are asked to bring a pair or package of new socks to receive a melted down admission of $5 and a chance to win some sweet prizes! Admission is set at $12 for those who do not bring socks.

My taste in music knows few bounds, so I found quite a few pieces to like. My FLFs (First-Listen Favorites) would have to be:
- "I Believe in Father Christmas" from Pictures of Then,
- "The Gift" by Beneath Wind and Waves, and
- "Christmas Time" from Piney Gir.
